Today was a great day. I know that the weather didn't exactly make everyone feel amazing, but just watching people take part of #givingtuesday made me proud to live where I live and work where I work. We all have time, talents or treasures to give to/for others. It is people helping each other that will make the difference. It is not having the fastest internet (we do) or being voted #1 outdoor city (we were). Those things are great, but it is the hearts of those who live here that make the Chattanooga area great. If you haven't found a way to help out or an agency you are passionate about, get on it. There are plenty around! My family has had the opportunity of being served by a few here, and it changed our lives forever. They are the reason we give back! It is hard to express how thankful I am for the last five days. I completely unplugged from work and outside commitments, and focused on having a great time with my family. I am an extremely blessed individual who sometimes loses perspective. I have temporarily fixed that :D I know I will get worn down again, but until then I am all smiles. Now, all this could go downhill quickly in less than two hours when we attempt to put the twins (Zeke) to bed :P

Just got a call from Eli. He got home and went to retrieve the mail. He said, "You got something that has the Jordan Standard on the front of it. Obviously it is something to do with Sigma Chi." Proud dad moment :D
